Alongside my work as a writer I also make artwork. In a former existence I was a sculptor and exhibited all over the UK (and occasionally in more far-flung venues). My sculptures won numerous prizes, including awards from The Royal Society of Sculptors and The Manchester Academy of Fine Art. In recent years I have turned to printing and drawing, often exploring the same themes and ideas that emerge in my writing.
